This website (“the Site”) is published by PNC Legal Ltd, a limited liability company registered in England and Wales (registration No. 10926643) (“PNC Legal”).
Disclaimer
The Site provides general information only. While every effort is made to ensure that it is in no way misleading, no representation or warranty is given that the material or information accessible on or via the Site is accurate, not misleading, complete or up to date. Legal advice from a regulated law firm should therefore be taken before relying on it.
Use of the Site is at the user’s own risk. PNC Legal does not accept any liability for the blocking or restricting of information or access to and/or from the Site or any failure by its web hosting provider. PNC Legal reserves the right to make the Site unavailable at any time or restrict access to all or any part of the Site without notice.
All representations, warranties, conditions or other terms, express or implied, by statute, collaterally or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties, conditions or other terms of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose or reasonable care and skill arising from or in connection with the Site are excluded by PNC Legal to the fullest extent permitted by English law.
PNC Legal will not be liable in contract, tort (including, without limitation, for negligence) or otherwise arising from and/or in connection with the material and/or information appearing on the Site for (i) consequential, indirect or special loss or damage; or (ii) any loss of goodwill or reputation; or (iii) any economic losses (including loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), even if PNC Legal has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage and howsoever incurred.
All legal services provided by PNC Legal are delivered by its solicitors exclusively through Keystone Law, a multi-award winning new-model law firm that is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)(Reg. No. 400999). PNC Legal is not itself an authorised law firm and does not and will not, whether through the publication or operation of the Site or otherwise, enter directly into any retainer in its own name or on its own account for the provision of legal services by it. Nor does it or will it do so in the capacity of an agent. Therefore, Keystone Law will be the sole counter-party to any retainer or fee agreement and the representative law firm in any court proceedings and there can be no retainer or duty of care, express or implied, arising as between PNC Legal and any user of the Site.
Further, and for the avoidance of doubt, neither the submission of any enquiry to PNC Legal by a user of the Site, nor any contact between PNC Legal and/or its representatives and a user of the Site, whether written, electronic, oral, telephonic or other contact, will give rise to a retainer, duty of care or liability of any kind (including for loss or damages) to the user of the Site, even if PNC Legal has been advised of the possibility of such damages or such damages are foreseeable.
Accordingly, and notwithstanding the submission of any enquiry to or any contact with PNC Legal, all users of the Site remain wholly responsible for complying with any limitation deadline (including but not limited to any statutory or contractual limitation deadline) for issuing court proceedings, as well as complying with all directions, orders and notices issued by the court.
Please also note that before Keystone Law can enter into any retainer it, like all SRA authorised law firms, is required to undertake a number of regulatory checks.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, PNC Legal’s total liability (if any and including but not limited to all damages, costs, disbursements, VAT and interest) in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise arising from or in connection with the Site shall not exceed £100.
